Visit by SDC Delegation
Dr. Edita Vokral, Head of Department of Regional Cooperation, Federal Department of Foreign Affairs, Federal Government of Switzerland and Ms. Lisa Magnollay, Desk Officer Bhutan, SDC Bern visited Bhutan from 2nd – 12th September 2009. During their visit the formally opened Learner’s Resource Centre in the College of Education Samchi, had discussions with the Prime Minister, other cabinet members and officials of the Royal Government of Bhutan. They visited SDC and Helvetas projects in Samchi, Paro, Thimphu, Wangdue and Bumthang.
