Ground-breaking ceremony for SDC’s support to the Bumthang court construction
The Support to the Judiciary of Bhutan (2009-2013) is a joint project between the Judiciary in Bhutan, SDC, and ADA (Austrian Development Agency). The Bumthang court construction is a part of this project. The ground-breaking ceremony for the construction was done on 6th May 2010 in the presence of the Chief Justice of the Supreme Court of Bhutan. The court construction is expected to improve the physical access to court justice, and to underline the institutional separation of the judiciary from the executive.
