These is not a sector but under the theme, the Swiss programme, among many other crosscutting themes, looks into advancement of self-help, decentralised participation and private initiatives through promotion of civil society/private sector organisations (such as cooperatives and associations), gender, poverty and as well as the use of ICT to improve inclusion of people in modern development considering cultural aspects and indigenous knowledge in programme development including environmental aspects.
