Collaborators’ meeting - 13-05-2010

 

Helvetas-Bhutan and its collaborators held its biannual collaborators’ meeting on 13th May 2010. Unlike in the past where every project presented its progress and plans, this collaborators’ meeting focused on important events that occurred in certain projects (external review of the Rural Livelihood Project, external review of the Participatory Forest Management Project), enhancing collaboration between projects on specific subjects (savings and credit groups, market chain analysis) and forward planning, and cross cutting topics (Helvetas-Bhutan programme review, gender, accountability). Apart from our long term partners and project managers, the GNH Commission – Mr. Norbu Wangchuk from the Plan Monitoring and Coordination Division and Ms. Kunzang Lham Sangey from the Development Cooperation Division - participated for the first time in this forum. The next collaborators’ meeting is planned for the end of 2010.
